Arkong Bato Park in Valenzuela opens

The Arkong Bato Park in Barangay Arkong Bato has officially opened to the public on March 19, 2023, attended by several government officials, including DSWD Secretary REX Gatchalian, Vice Mayor Lorie Natividad-Borja, NHCP Chairman Emmanuel F. Calairo, and City Councilors.

The linear park spans almost 3,500 square meters and features the historic Arkong Bato and a monument of local hero Kapitan Delfin Velilla. The park is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The opening of Arkong Bato Park is part of the local government's efforts to provide more public spaces for residents to enjoy and appreciate the city's history and culture.
