In a concerted effort to enhance emergency response capabilities, more than 70 dedicated individuals from the #PamilyangValenzuelano, including Valenzuela City Police officers, barangay ambulance drivers, and employees from the Office of Senator WIN Gatchalian, participated in the Basic First Aid and Life Support Training. Led by the Valenzuela City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (VCDRRMO), the training took place on May 11, 2023, with the aim of equipping participants with essential skills to effectively and efficiently respond to emergency situations.

The City Government of Valenzuela has always prioritized the safety and well-being of its constituents, recognizing the importance of preparedness in ensuring the overall resilience of the community. The Basic First Aid and Life Support Training served as a proactive measure to empower participants with the knowledge and techniques needed to provide immediate assistance during critical moments.

Under the guidance of the VCDRRMO, attendees were immersed in comprehensive training sessions that covered various aspects of first aid and life support. The training modules included essential topics such as assessing vital signs, providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), addressing common medical emergencies, and managing injuries.
