Valenzuela rewards topnotcher in teachers licensure exam

Valenzuela City continues to recognize and reward its top performing constituents, as it gives a cash incentive to one of its topnotchers on February 28, 2023. Raphael Ramos Dillena from Barangay Wawang Pulo received the reward under Ordinance No. 475, Series of 2018, also known as the "Valenzuela City Topnotchers Incentives Ordinance."

Dillena placed 9th in the October 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers - Secondary Level, garnering a rating of 92.60%. The City Government of Valenzuela awarded him a cash incentive as a way of acknowledging his hard work and achievement.

The Valenzuela City Topnotchers Incentives Ordinance aims to recognize the academic and professional achievements of residents of the city. Under this ordinance, cash incentives are awarded to topnotchers of board or bar exams, licensure exams, and other professional exams.
